‘Be the best you can be’

Claydon High School is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative Assistant to support the smooth operation of student focused programmes. This role is key to ensuring students receive timely, accurate and helpful support throughout their school journey. The successful candidate will also act as the main point of contact for first aid and oversee the day-to-day running of the medical room.

You will play a central role in supporting our students to ‘be the best they can be’. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting young people with a keen eye for detail, helping our students make the most of their their potential.

Claydon High School is a popular, oversubscribed and friendly comprehensive school on the outskirts of Ipswich; we are situated close to the A14 with easy transport links across Suffolk and into Essex.  We are a small school with 767 students on roll which means that there is a close working relationship with all the staff and students in the school.  As part of the Penrose Learning Trust we also work closely with other schools within the MAT to achieve “excellence through collaboration”.
